Highlights from Midtown Beach Music and North Hills concerts

Raleigh's vibrant music scene is in full swing this May, offering residents and visitors a plethora of live performances to enjoy. From the beloved Midtown Beach Music Series to intimate acoustic sets at North Hills, there's something for every music enthusiast.

 

The Midtown Beach Music Series, now in its 17th season, continues to be a highlight of Raleigh's summer calendar. Held every Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Midtown Park, this series showcases a variety of beach music, Motown, and R&B acts. On May 7, The Catalinas will take the stage, promising an evening of classic tunes and dancing under the stars. Tickets are available for individual shows or as part of a season bundle.

 

In addition to the Beach Music Series, North Hills hosts the Pop-Up Music series, featuring acoustic performances designed to enhance the shopping and dining experience. On Friday, May 8, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Josh Rhyne & SilverTones will perform at The Commons, providing a delightful backdrop for an evening out. These free concerts continue through May, with various artists scheduled to perform on Fridays and Sundays.

 

These events not only offer high-quality entertainment but also foster a sense of community, bringing people together to celebrate music and culture in the heart of Raleigh. Whether you're a longtime resident or a visitor, the Midtown Beach Music Series and North Hills concerts are must-attend events this season.
