Fiction Kitchen, a beloved establishment among the vegan community, has relocated to Gateway Plaza, enhancing its offerings in a more spacious setting. This move aligns with the area's development into a hub for diverse dining experiences.

 

Adding to the excitement, Mala Pata, a Latin American restaurant emphasizing fresh masa and traditional dishes, along with its affiliated minibar Peyote, opened their doors at Gateway Plaza on May 14, 2025. This duo brings authentic flavors and a unique dining experience to the heart of Raleigh.

 

In the realm of sweet treats, Cinnaholic, renowned for its vegan cinnamon rolls, has expanded its presence in Raleigh with two new locations: 1028 Oberlin Road and 7851 Alexander Promenade Place. Their customizable rolls, featuring a variety of frostings and toppings, have quickly become a favorite among locals.

 

Celebrating a significant milestone, Irregardless Cafe, a cornerstone of Raleigh's dining scene, marked its 50th anniversary in 2025. Originally established as a vegetarian sandwich shop, it has evolved into a cherished institution known for its inclusive menu and community engagement.
