The Conlon Family Skatepark in Raleigh will come alive on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 3 to 9 p.m. for the 988 & Skate community event, dedicated to mental wellness and support.

 

Founded by Reggie Winston, known for The Bar Ber Shop N.C. and The Mobile Barber Truck, this gathering invites locals of all ages to openly connect and converse about mental health.

 

Guests can enjoy a live DJ, on-site haircuts from Reggie’s team, and an open skate session for roller skates, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, and Heelys.

 

Food trucks, family-friendly activities, and local vendors round out the festive programming.

 

This free event is part of a larger effort to raise awareness for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, ensuring everyone knows help is always within reach.
